The process...

...let's do this!

- We understand that handing over your books, especially valuable ones, can be daunting and even scary. What we suggest is to gain trust and confidence with us, that you start off by sending us maybe one or two books that aren't very valuable, and let us show you what we can do. You pay shipping both directions, but we will not charge you for our work. If you like the results, then let's carry forward with more books

- Start off the process by contacting us so we know you are interested in getting some book(s) fixed. Fill out the contact form on the home page

- We'll respond to you at the email address you provided when you contacted us, verifying how you'd like to proceed. Again, we could start with a couple low value books, as stated above

- It's hard for us to give an accurate ETA on turnaround time, but we will do our best when we start communicating with you. Obviously we have no control over the shipping carriers, but as for the work we do, time to complete will entail such factors as our current workload, number of books you have sent in, amount of time needed per book, and number of hours in the day. Ha, just having some fun with this last one. To help you gauge rough estimates, a normal press per book can be up to 24hr, but also sometimes a book requires several heat pressing cycles depending on how much effort is involved in tackling its issues. Not to worry, the heat isn't applied the entire time...only for the first few minutes. We leave it in the press so it has time to cool and settle. Cleaning and use of a humidity chamber can be work that is done while a book is being pressed, so really the main time element is the heat press

- Take detailed photos of your book(s) prior to sending to us

- Securely pack and send the book(s) to us, giving us the tracking number

- We'll confirm receipt with you upon arrival

- We'll send you photos of each book, front and back. These are the "before" photos

- As we progress, we'll share the status with you

- When we've completed a book, we'll send you photos of the book, front and back. These are the "after" photos

- At some point you will need to send us money for the return shipment of the book(s). Also send payment for the cleaning & pressing of each book, unless we are doing the work for free. Refer to our paying page

- When we are fully finished with the book(s), we'll pack them up in the packaging you sent (assuming the packaging is still good to reuse), and send the book(s) back to you

- You rave about what superheroes we are, you tell all of your friends and family, and you become loyal customers. It's the perfect storybook ending. Ha
